About The JTS Partnership

The JTS Partnership LLP, formerlly known as John Trott and Son, was first established in Essex in 1970. Initially working in the fields of town and country planning and general practice surveying, The JTS Partnership quickly established a reputation for providing practical and sound advice and built up a strong client base.

After moving to the Brentwood Office, The JTS Partnership continued to expand its client base, while the areas of the country within which it worked also increased. The JTS Partnership expanded to open offices in Leeds (1992) and Canterbury (2003) and there are now four Partners (the Founding Partner having retired in 1993).

What The JTS Partnership does

While still best known for its work in the field of town and country planning, The JTS Partnership has also expanded the range of services to include conservation and heritage, building surveying and design, compulsory purchase and valuation and rating.

The JTS Partnership provides specialist advice within these fields and with our many contacts within the planning, property and development sectors, it can offer a full and comprehensive service to all its clients – whether they be a local householder seeking a home extension or a national developer seeking to put together a major mixed use brown field development.

Success, first as John Trott and Son and now as The JTS Partnership LLP, has been based upon the philosophy of identifying, focusing upon and then delivering client needs. This remains The JTS Partnership’s overriding objective and, coupled with the personal service that is provided to all clients, is the principal reason why The JTS Partnership has many long-standing client relationships.
